Starkid - Making Musicals for Cool People

You should be ashamed of yourself if you have never heard of Starkid Productions, the coolest group of young ladies and gentlemen who turn pop culture and strange topics into bizarrely hilarious musicals.

Before he was plucked but Glee, Darren Criss was a main part of the cast and crew, starring and writing music for the majority of their amazing productions.

But he is not the only amazing one. Every single member of the cast, crew and musicians have talent, and one hell of a sense of humour.

Their most well known production is A Very Potter Musical, which you can guess takes the absolute piss out of Harry Potter in a very musical manner. Also they do it for free. That's right, for free. The only money they make out of this is through merchandise and touring, because Copyright is sh*t house. The actors involved do this purely for fun.

Starship - Kind of like Starship Troopers and The Little Mermaid

I was actually lucky enough to get to see the Australian version of A Very Potter Musical, which was masterfully well done and included a few Australian related jokes too. I have great respect for everyone involved who put so much effort and humour into each performance.

I'm also watching their newest production Holy Musical B@tman, which is about superheroes and the shenanigans they get up to. Keeps my mind off my pain at the moment. Totally working.

So to all the Starkid guys: Matt and Nick Lang, Joe Walker, Brian Holden, Jim Povolo, Jamie Lyn Beatty, Lauren Lopez, Denise Donovan, Nico Ager, Julia Albain, Jeff Blim, Nicholas Joseph Strauss-Matathia, Meredith Stepien, Dylan Saunders, even Darren Criss, and everyone else involved in the productions, keep up the good work you legends you.

Joseph Walker looks good in anything. Especially dressed as a woman.

Again, Joe looks good in anything, even dressed as a penis. Yep, that's him as a penis.
